For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 1 Timothy 6:10 (NIV)
I ponder why love is so hard. Why isn’t there a policy to share hospitality and brotherhood? Love is seen by many in the faith community as something earned not freely given. It is almost as if love is given to those less fortunate like a coat or hand-me-overs. Love is vintage, it never gets old. It dates back to and is as old as our creator. Love is eternal.
Love will change the world
Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord… Hebrews 12:14 (NKJV) Following peace to me is a means to exhibit the attributes of the ‘Prince of Peace’. The blessed peacemakers (Matthew 5:9) are the children of God. God’s offspring create opportunities for collaboration. Wow!
Have you looked at the world lately?
The energy flowing through the hearts and minds of creation is love. Hate will not win in its efforts to get us to accept the destruction of the planet, and by design everything in it. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! Global warming, conservation, recycling, limiting consumption give us opportunities to love the planet. Sharing resources is a life sustaining methodology.
I believe this world can be heaven. It is filled with caring, giving, people. As we ignite brotherly love, we will all be overcome with sharing and caring. It is not about our politics. It is only about our love.
