My blurred reflection…

For now [in this time of imperfection] we see in a mirror dimly [a blurred reflection, a riddle, an enigma], but then [when the time of perfection comes we will see reality] face to face. Now I know in part [just in fragments], but then I will know fully, just as I have been fully known [by God]. 1 Corinthians 13:12

Who am I? This question I believe resonates with every human being. Why am I here? You are here to find your way home. Where is home? God knows. No, He really does!

I have struggled with my identity and purpose. I have always understood that I had a destiny, one that included knowing God (having a relationship with Him) but I did not grasp who I was chosen to be until I stepped away from everything familiar and began my journey of self-discovery.

For whosoever would save his life shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall find it. Matthew 16:25

When my faith was shaken even dismantled, I dug deep inside to listen for answers. I started over, relearning and reinvestigating my faith. It took some time and God sent a few angels to help. But one day, my seemingly lost faith was being rediscovered. Notice, I did not use the word, ‘recovered’! The journey launched me into a new realm of discovery. The reformation changed me. I fell in love with the Christ in me. I now know to trust my inner voice and thereto myself!

Feeling lost, is not being lost!

Destiny is calling you? You were born with a purpose. You are contributing to the universe’s creative process. What are you making? I love the analogy, how do you eat a mountain of chocolate? One bite at a time. Meaning when having to tackle something monumental, take it one step at a time. Walk out purpose one step at a time. You fulfill the reason why you were born, one moment at a time. Live life in the present. Embrace the ‘now’ and make ‘now’ the best moment of your life.

Why can’t we see how beautiful we are designed to be?

When we look in the divine mirror, we do not always recognize who we are becoming. Don’t be afraid. Live with passion. We are becoming like Christ. Heaven.
